Do I have to be in shape to come to class?

Nope. It is our job to get you INTO shape! All of our classes are designed to accommodate all levels so there is always a huge variety fitness in every class. Just come!



What should I wear?

We are all about working out, not fashion, so come in whatever YOU are comfortable wearing. Keep in mind, however, that most classes will have you on the floor at some point and there is always the possibility that your shoulders will be below your belly button…pick accordingly!



What time should I arrive?

We reccommend arriving 10 minutes early to your first class.



Do you have locker rooms?

No, but we do have a shower and individual bathrooms in which you can change. There are cubbies for your stuff so no need to fret!



Can I come to a TRX class if I have never done TRX?

The short answer is, yes. However (there’s always a “but”), we find that those who do at least one private session first have a much better experience upon integrating into class. A private session allows your trainer to introduce you to TRX basics, help you learn proper form and, most importantly, work through any modifications that might be appropriate for your individual fitness and/or health history.



What should I do (expect??) for my first class?

Aside from the most fun you have EVER had working out, your instructor will orient you, help you get set up, and introduce you to everyone in class (who will undoubtedly become your new workout buddies). If you have never had experience taking a similar type class (TRX, Ninja Circuit, or Pilates Mat), you might feel a bit like a fish out of water. It won’t last long, however. Most catch on after the first few classes so the best thing to do is jump right in and come back two or three times in close succession. Before you know it you’ll be ready to teach the class! (Well, almost.)



Do you have parking?

We do! Most people park on the street, but we have parking in the back of the building, off of Whitaker Street.



You offer classes and personal training – do I have to pick one or the other?

The beauty of having NO membership requirement is that you can mix and match services to suit your schedule, goals, and preferences. We are kind of like gym-tapas! Mix a few group classes in with some small group or individual training to give you that extra edge or help you reach a specific goal. Or, start with some personal training to build strength, confidence, and familiarity with the exercises so that when you integrate into a group class setting you are already rockin’ it! Whatever works for your schedule and budget, we are about as flexible as it gets!



How do I pay?

For TRX classes, especially, we recommend you register and pay online (DO IT HERE NOW!) prior to coming since we have limited space. However, you are always welcome to drop in for any class and see if we have room. If you haven’t registered, be sure to come at least 10 minutes early to fill out a waiver and take care of payment before class begins. We take all major credit cards, checks, and good old cash!
